Get started

Updated October 1, 2026

Drop Cowboy® puts calls, texts, email, ringless voicemail and AI agents in one dashboard. Sign in, learn the menu, then try it on your own phone before you send to anyone else.

  1. Open My Dashboard in your browser. No account yet? Click Get Started to create one.
  2. Enter your email and password, then sign in. Forgot your password? Use the reset link on the sign-in screen.
  3. If your login belongs to more than one account, Choose an account opens. Pick the one you want. Each option shows the team name, and the one you own says Owner.
  4. You land on My Dashboard.

To switch accounts later, click My Account in the top right and pick another account under Accounts. The account you're in has a check mark.

The My Account menu also holds My Profile, Billing, Manage Users, Trust Center, My Card and Settings. Logout is at the bottom.

If it doesn't work:

  • You signed in but see a blank page. Refresh the page. If it stays blank, sign out with Logout and sign in again.
  • You don't see the account you expected. Ask the account owner to invite you with the email you signed in with.

Find your way around

  1. Open My Dashboard at the top of the left menu. It's your home page.
  2. Under What do you want to do?, click a card to open that tool. Cards under Picked for you come first. Click the star on any card to add it there.
  3. Click Customize to change the layout. Pick a Layout preset, such as Sales, Marketing or Operations. Turn Show daily AI briefing card on or off, then click Done.
  4. Click Ask AI, or press Cmd+K, to ask the dashboard assistant a question.
  5. Open Get Started under My Dashboard for your setup checklist. It shows "N of 5 done" and the five steps, such as Pick your own number, Import your contacts and Make real calls. Click a step to open it.

Agents who mostly make calls see a simpler dashboard. It shows Start Dialing, Calls Today, Talk Time and Hot Leads.

The left menu is split into three groups:

  • At the top, with no heading, your daily work: Inbox, Calendar, Contacts and Pipelines.
  • Customer communication: Campaigns, Recording Studio, Make Calls, Phone Numbers, Call Tracking, AI Agents and Connect AI.
  • Business & setup: Automation, Templates, Web and Connect your carrier.

Settings sits at the bottom of the menu.

You see only the items your role allows. If you don't see an item, ask your account owner for access. Roles are explained in Set what each person can do.

Try it on your own phone

A test to yourself shows what a contact hears and sees.

  1. Open Contacts in the left menu and click Add.
  2. In Create Contact, enter your name and your mobile number in Main Number. Click Create.
  3. Open your new contact. Its actions include Call, Text and RVM.
  4. To test a ringless voicemail, click RVM. Pick a Voicemail Recording and a Phone Line, then click Send Voicemail. With no recording yet, record a message first.
  5. To test a text, click Text. Write a short message in the panel that opens and send it.
  6. To test a call, click Call. Your browser asks to use the microphone the first time; allow it.

Each send goes out from a number on the phone line you pick. To learn which number people see, read Choose the caller ID people see.

When the test looks right, send a ringless voicemail to a list.

If it doesn't work:

  • "Please add a phone line to your account." You need a phone line with a number first. Buy a phone number, then set up a phone line.
  • "Please add recordings to your account." Record a message, then send again.
  • The text won't send. The line needs a registered texting campaign. See Send texts from a phone line.
  • "Contact already exists". Your number is already a contact. Search for it on Contacts and open that one instead.
