Trust Center and 10DLC

Updated October 1, 2026

Carriers ask businesses to verify who they are, and to register their texting, before they send business texts. In Drop Cowboy® you do both in Trust Center. Carriers make the approval decisions.

Verify your business

You need a verified brand, or your own connected carrier, before you can launch campaigns. Have your legal business name, tax ID, website and business address ready.

  1. Open Settings in the left menu, then click Trust Center.
  2. Click Register a New Brand. If you already have brands, click Add above the Brands list.
  3. On Basics, fill in Legal Business Name, then pick Entity Type and Industry. Brand / DBA Name is only for a trade name.
  4. On Tax IDs, pick the State of Incorporation and enter your tax ID. Sole proprietors skip this step; click Continue.
  5. On Website, enter your Website URL. Add a Terms of Service URL and Privacy Policy URL if this brand will send texts. No site yet? Click Create a hosted website.
  6. On Address, start typing your Business Address and pick it from the list.
  7. On Contact, enter a real person carriers can reach: First Name, Last Name, Email, Job Title and Phone Number.
  8. On Consent, pick a card:
    • I'm not running campaigns yet: you only need numbers for voice calls for now.
    • Enable calling & email campaigns: check each opt-in method you really use, or describe it in Describe your opt-in process. Purchased, scraped or skip-traced leads aren't accepted.
  9. Check each box under Attestations. Ask your legal counsel before you check My use case doesn't require opt-in.
  10. On Logos, add Brand Logos now or later. On Review, click Edit to fix a section, then click Register.

After you click Register, finish identity verification. Follow the steps on screen, or open the text or email you get and follow its link. Your brand can't be approved until this is done. If your connected carrier has already verified your identity, the wizard says no ID check is needed, and you skip this step.

Your brand shows Draft while you work, Under Review after you submit, and Active once it is verified. The wizard saves as you go and shows Your draft was restored. when you come back.

If it doesn't work:

  • "Please complete identity verification to submit your brand." Finish the identity steps on screen, then click Register again.
  • Overview shows "Brand locked". Submitted brands can't be changed without carrier approval. Click Chat with us to ask for a change. You can still update your logos and 911 address.
  • The website URL is marked as not valid. Type the full address of your live site, starting with https, then click Continue.

Register your SMS brand

Your verified brand is your SMS brand: it is the business carriers see on your texts. Check it is ready before you register an SMS campaign.

  1. Open Settings in the left menu, then click Trust Center.
  2. In the Brands list, check the label under your brand's name. You need Active.
  3. Click the brand. On Overview, check that Website shows your live site. Your SMS campaign asks for its Terms of Service and Privacy Policy links.
  4. With more than one brand, click Brand data: shared contacts or Brand data: separate contacts to choose whether your brands share one set of contacts.

Already registered your brand through your own carrier? Import it instead of registering it again:

  1. In Trust Center, click Import from Carrier, or Sync from Twilio if that is the button you see.
  2. Pick your BYOC pool / carrier, then click Import next to your brand.
  3. If it isn't listed, enter the TCR Brand ID and Company name, then click Import brand.

See Bring your own carrier to connect a carrier first.

If it doesn't work:

  • The brand stays Under Review. Make sure identity verification is finished, then check back later.
  • "No brands found at the carrier." Check you picked the right BYOC pool / carrier, or enter the TCR Brand ID by hand.

Register your SMS campaign

An SMS campaign registration describes one texting program, such as reminders or promotions. You register it once, then send text campaigns under it.

  1. Open Settings in the left menu, then click Trust Center. Click your Active brand, then the Campaigns tab.
