Getting started with Website Hosting

Drop Cowboy Website Hosting lets you build and publish a marketing site without leaving the dashboard. Your site runs on Drop Cowboy infrastructure and can include lead forms, call tracking, and analytics when you connect your Drop Cowboy tracking script.

Before you begin

• You need a Drop Cowboy account with access to Websites in the dashboard.
• Website Hosting is available from the website creation flow — choose Build a new site with Drop Cowboy when adding a website.

Create your site

1. Go to Websites and click Add Website.
2. Select Build a new site with Drop Cowboy.
3. Enter a site name (this is for your dashboard; visitors see your page titles).
4. Either describe your business and click Generate with AI, or click Start from blank to open the page editor with an empty canvas.
5. When generation finishes, open Pages from the website dashboard to review and edit your content.

Your default site address

Every hosted site gets a Drop Cowboy subdomain:

https://{your-site-slug}.sites.dc-websites.com

The slug is chosen when the site is created. You can share this URL immediately after you publish. Custom domains (for example www.yourbrand.com) are optional — see Connect a custom domain.

What you can do next

• Edit pages — Use the block-based editor to change text, images, sections, and layout.
• Publish — Push changes live when you are ready; see Publish your site.
• Add tracking — If you also use Drop Cowboy analytics on an existing domain, hosted sites can use the same lead and call-tracking tools once the tracking script is on your pages.
