What happens when someone revokes consent?

When consent is revoked (via API or our privacy form), all phone numbers associated with that contact are automatically added to the team's DNC list. The contact's consent flags are updated, and the revocation is timestamped in the audit trail. Consent records are never deleted—only marked as revoked.

What if I already have consent from other sources?

During contact import, you can map consent-related fields including TCPA consent status, consent date, E-SIGN consent, TrustedForm certificate URLs, and Jornaya lead IDs. These are stored with the contact and respected by PEWC enforcement.

Does PEWC enforcement affect all calls?

PEWC enforcement only affects automated campaigns: predictive dialer, RVM, voice broadcast, and bulk SMS. Manual click-to-call and single SMS are always permitted (though DNC and litigator checks still apply). This allows legitimate relationship-based communication while protecting against automated abuse.

Is the consent form accessible?

Yes. In the contact detail view, a Consent section shows E-SIGN consent status/date, TCPA consent status/date, opt-out status, RND status, and links to view consent screenshots. You can also export contacts with all consent fields.

What device information is captured?

Our fingerprinting captures: browser type/version, operating system, screen resolution, timezone, language settings, canvas fingerprint, WebGL renderer, installed fonts, and more. This creates a unique visitor identifier for fraud detection and audit trails without personally identifiable information.
