Why do we need to verify a business owner's / responsible party's identity?
United States consumers have been plagued with countless scams coming from foreign markets. In order to stop these scams, telecommunication providers are required to implement a "know-your-customer" process just like you would experience when opening a bank account.
How does it work?
The account owner must show a valid government issued ID when opening an account with any US company that provides phone services. The process is simple and only takes about 30 seconds via our integration with Vouched. If you are not committing fraud on the American people, there shouldn't be any issue. Here's how it works...
